…back to being a Calgary resident. My move is complete (aside from the bed in the living room and none of my stuff being in my bedroom, but minor details).
I also have finally caught up with three weeks ago and created an account on Twitter.com under the highly creative username 1002things. Feel free to add me to follow status updates and I will hopefully be adding the twitter application to the sidebar on the blog.
Not much else going on, there’s just too much to do!!!
Elections – #245

Let’s just say for Reflection Friday that I was sedated yesterday for the first time in my life and a picture is to follow sooner or later.
This is just a quick hit to say on March 3rd I will be working the Alberta Provincial elections, which will satisfy #245 – work in a federal or provincial election. Pretty sweet. I go for my training this Thursday and then March 3rd I totally get to cross something off of my list.
Meeting Adam Jones

This really has nothing to do with my list, actually, it’s just something awesome that happened when I went down to Montana. Adam and I headed there to see our favourite band Tool and as it turns out guitarist Adam Jones loves antique shopping as much as I do. He was kind enough to stop searching the store for fish nailed to dry wood to take a couple of pictures with us.

On Tuesday I have three midterms. Yes, three midterms.
I don’t think I will be posting much, until after that. I’m going to try and sneak in some fun on Friday, but we’ll see.
After next week is spring break! Woo hoo! Doctor’s appointments!

Just thought I would mention I have another blog, it’s quite dumb, but oddly enjoyable to me.
It’s quite literally excerpts from random conversations I’ve had. Most of them allude to my quick wit, and by quick wit I mean the utter stupidity I expunge on a daily basis.
Fishy Blog Revamping – Quick Hit

Tomorrow Adam and I will be sitting down and revamping this site, so expect some changes! Probably more pink (my favourite colour) and maybe a new layout.
Also, I’m going to be job hunting and buying a new fish. I’m super excited for the fish!
Relearn French – Quick Hit

I added a new 2008 resolution, which is to relearn French.
My goal is to listen to one French podcast per day, either simply podcasts in French or podcasts that aim to teach French.

YAY! – Quick hit

I got a four year full-tuition scholarship after graduating high school, but I messed up in my first year, so I lost my funding for the second (and then got it back for my third year).
I just found out today it wasn’t for four consecutive years, just four years over all. Which means next year’s tuition is paid in full!
Meaning it may have just gotten easier to justify travelling this summer!
