Me in a field I took my friend Mikaela out to breakfast in Okotoks and on the way back we found a giant rock. There were teenagers playing guitar on the top. Alberta… Apparently the rock is called Big Rock and is just one of many giant glacial erratics in Alberta.

This is just a quick hit! Number 581 on my list was to go camping again. I vaguely remember going as a child, camping as we travelled around. By “vaguely” I mean I have a strong memory of camping at Niagra Falls and it raining so heavily that I could feel a river moving under

After all this hubadoo (yes I made that word up) about Iceland, I might not be going. It turns out even in a recession Iceland is insanely expensive when compared to other countries. Who does Iceland think it is exactly? Flights might be cheap, but not really that much cheaper than most other countries. Then

The weather has decided to get back to be snowy and cold, which is just what it does in April when you live in Calgary, Alberta. I read all these blogs about people going everywhere and anywhere, staying months in exotic locals, eating interesting food, meeting people from all over. Me? I’m going to Kelowna. I’m trying really hard not to complain, Kelowna is beautiful,

I was trying to avoid writing about my trip to the Dominican Republic, but I cannot put it off any longer. It was silly, not wanting to write about. I’m just scared to admit the truth about my ridiculously expensive excursion: it was terrible. Not I-was-held-hostage-and-forced-to-eat-raw-cow-pancreas terrible, but I certainly did not get what I
