So yesterday I spent a wonderful 13 hours working at the provincial elections as a Deputy Returning Officer. This was #245 on the list and it has been officially crossed off!!! It was alright, pretty boring on the whole, and being part of the democratic process was pretty neat, though I only had 25% turnout at my little station. I think I would do again, especially considering what you get paid to do it! They are usually short on people too (especially in the winter when all the old people go to Phoenix), so the next time elections roll around, I suggest working at them! I also suggest VOTING!!!!!
