Because Eventually I Have To Die, Maybe
Vlog!
My very first vlog! Now this satisfies both #274 – Post a video on youtube and #275 – post a vlog on here.
Thanks so much to Nabeel for the suggestion. It is phenomenal!!
Also, remember to check out Hey Ocean or their Myspace. Or just listen to them on here! Remember to check out their show listings. If you’re in Lethbridge come and see them at the Slice on Thursday, January17th, doors at 8 or around then.
Here’s their track “Fish”.

EDIT: I removed something off of my list, so the numbers are actually 274 and 275. Sorry!

Little Prince or Drag Queen: You Decide
about 3 years ago - No comments
So I’ve made up my mind: life is bland whether you are working or not. I do very much enjoy not working. I have all this time to cook and sit around and start book clubs called “Liberal Rejectionist Revisionary Visionary Literary Socialites” (AKA The Finer Things Club for all you Office fans). Our first
Have Music, Will Travel

So I took a break from cleaning, studying, writing and all that good stuff this afternoon and used it to clean up my music collection. Since part of the cleaning process let me properly set up my giantess of a laptop that holds my music collection, I’ve also been able to listen to it for
Crossed Off – Giant Mennonite Boy
about 3 years ago - No comments
I don’t know why I was so fascinated with the prospect of seeing a giant figure of a Mennonite boy, but I assume it has something to do with my interest in Hutterites. When I saw on Road Side Attractions that in Cambridge they had a Mennonite boy, it was added straight away to my
Crossed off – Remington Carriage Museum (and some other adventures)
about 4 years ago - No comments
So my lovah-lovah Adam planned a nice and semi-surprise trip for me on Sunday. It combined both my giant list and some of the mini-list for southern Alberta that I made a while back. We made our way down to the Remington Carriage Museum, which is located in Cardston, quite near to the US/Canada border.
My Long Weekend
about 4 years ago - No comments
Nothing crossed off of the list this weekend, sadly. I did have a rockin’ good time though! We left Friday, but due to cloudy skies and some time constraints, we took our regular route, rather than the Cowboy Trail. It was super cloudy, and there were strange cloud formations going on over the hills and
When the Dust Settled
about 4 years ago - No comments
Alright, so there’s not much going on in way of the the list, but I do have some plans for the weekend. Adam and I are going back up to Calgary for Easter and whatnot, but instead of taking the boring Vulcan or Claresholm way, we are considering going the much more scenic Cowboy Trail,
When Mom Comes to Play
about 4 years ago - 1 comment
So a while back I made a mini-list about things I wanted to do in Southern Alberta before I move back to Calgary this April. My super awesome mom came to visit me this weekend, and helped me cross quite a few things off of the list! We of course got photo evidence of the
Crossed Off! Working At Provincial or Federal Elections
about 4 years ago - No comments
So yesterday I spent a wonderful 13 hours working at the provincial elections as a Deputy Returning Officer. This was #245 on the list and it has been officially crossed off!!! It was alright, pretty boring on the whole, and being part of the democratic process was pretty neat, though I only had 25% turnout
Reflection Friday – Bridges Crossed, and other excitements like the Red Dog Diner
about 4 years ago - No comments
So, this reflection happened in the not-to-distant past, by which I mean yesterday. I’m sure most people who know me know that I am scared of heights. Terribly afraid to the point of near insanity. Just last night I have an incredibly graphic nightmare about being in a plane that had an appointment with the
Life in Lethbridge/Calgary
about 4 years ago - 3 comments
Alright, so I have been living in Lethbridge since September and not done much in the way of exploring here. I have found some rockin’ food establishments and a good place to drink, but I don’t think I have experienced the full potential of Lethbridge. So I am making a quick list of things I
